We are excited to announce that a second championship pickleball court will be added at the South Bend Racquet Club.  This new court, which is planned to mirror the build of the current pickleball court, is expected to be ready in time for the beginning of next season – September 1^st.  It will be located where the Jazzercise studio and racquetball court currently reside.

In addition to providing more court space for members to reserve, this new court will allow us to provide more lessons, clinics, and programming geared towards different player levels.

A few notes related to use of this new pickleball court:

• Only members may reserve the court for reoccurring reserved court time (RCT) over the season. An example of “RCT” would be a reservation of the court from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm every Tuesday night between the months of September 2023 and April 2024.
• We are not allowing members to make RCT reservations for the new court until June 1^st. After that it will be on a first come / first serve basis.
• Similar to the process on the tennis side, all pickleball RCT reservations need to be paid in full in order to lock down the court for the upcoming season.

We are excited to be able to provide this new indoor pickleball court to our members in the upcoming season, which begins September 1^st 2023 and ends August 31^st 2024.  We will try to keep everyone up to speed as we begin construction later this spring.
